## Description

100MeilenBerlin is the organizer and public-facing brand behind the Berliner Mauerweglauf, an endurance event that combines ultrarunning with remembrance of Germany’s divided past. Founded in 2011, the event honors the victims of the former border that divided Germany from 1961 to 1989. Its main race follows the former border strip around western Berlin, covering just over 161 kilometers. The program also includes the MauerwegMarsch, with separate event information, routes, schedules, results, and refreshment-point details for participants.

The website provides practical services for runners and supporters, including registration, travel guidance, information about bicycle companions, participant results, photos, livestreams, and video coverage. It also shares event news, historical background, details about the victims of the Berlin Wall, accommodation offers, a start-place exchange, and answers to frequently asked questions. Volunteers play an important role, with the organization coordinating registrations and event teams. The 2027 Mauerweglauf is scheduled for August 14 and 15, with the route run clockwise; registration is announced to open on November 9 at 18:57.
