## Description

Global Environmental Consulting (GEC) is a Scottsdale-based firm that helps state, regional, and federal agencies manage information and programs supporting safe drinking water. Since 2000, the company has provided consulting, software, and hosting services for drinking water administrators, drawing on more than 25 years of experience and expertise in Safe Drinking Water Act compliance.

GEC’s services include program and data management consulting, SDWIS and CMDP training and support, gap analysis, rule management, transition planning, database conversion, and cloud hosting. Its commercial off-the-shelf software is designed for government agencies and can transform legacy data into user-friendly applications. Products include Drinking Water Viewer, which lets agencies control what information is publicly visible; SWIFT Surveys, a mobile and web-based tool for inspections and site visits; and solutions for enforcement tracking, project management, certifications, submittals, and lead sampling.

GEC also provides personalized training and ongoing support. Its hosted databases use Microsoft Azure Government, and the company states it has been SOC 2 Type II certified since 2015.
