1ST PLACE 2 START is a reputable preschool located in San Francisco, California. Our mission is to ignite a passion for learning in children from all backgrounds and to prepare them for a successful school journey. We do this by providing a warm, safe, and nurturing environment through our high-quality child development programs.

Established in 2003, 1st Place 2 Start is a nonprofit childcare center in Visitacion Valley. We have an attractive and specially-designed facility at 1252 Sunnydale Avenue in San Francisco. Formerly known as 3 N 1 Learning Academy, we merged with our sister program in July 2006 to form 1st Place 2 Start.

Our dedicated staff is committed to increasing enrollment through community outreach and connecting with childcare resources and referral programs. We have the capacity to provide excellent childcare services to 27 children between the ages of 2-6 years. Under the guidance of Sandra Davis, our Director, who has extensive educational background and experience, our programs are designed to foster early childhood development.
