20's Plenty for Us is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to making cities, towns, and villages around the world safer and more livable. With over 600 local groups campaigning, they work tirelessly to advocate for a speed limit of 20mph as the norm on residential streets and in town and village centers. While they prioritize the needs of vulnerable road users, they believe that communities should have the power to decide that 20's Plenty Where People Live.
Their efforts have led to significant progress, with most of the UK's larger cities adopting 20mph limits for their residential streets, benefiting a staggering 28 million people. Furthermore, Wales is on the verge of implementing a 20mph national default for residential roads. 20's Plenty for Us aligns with the General Assembly of the United Nations, which endorses 20mph or 30km/h speed limits in areas where people mix with motor vehicles.
