As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Sandy's mission is to reduce the number of suicides in the active military, military veteran, and first responder communities through education and support. At Sandy, they offer various programs and resources to aid in the healing process. Their flagship program is the Tactical Resiliency Process (TRP), which consists of the trauma resiliency-protocol (TRP) and the Emotions Management Process (EMP). These interventions have shown remarkable success in eliminating the symptoms of PTSD, as demonstrated in three studies involving 100 clients, 100 more clients, and 66 children. By challenging the status quo and developing effective treatments, Sandy is making a difference in the lives of America's heroes.
