As the second largest township in Pennsylvania, Jefferson Township relies on our dedicated team to provide exceptional Fire Suppression and Rescue Services. Our coverage area spans 34 square miles of rural terrain, encompassing a population of 3,608 residents.

We are responsible for a vital six-mile stretch of Interstate 84. Equipped with a fleet of advanced vehicles, including a Rescue Pumper, Engine, Brush Truck, and Tanker, we ensure efficient and effective emergency response. Formed in _______, our fire company has a rich history of serving the citizens of Jefferson Township.

Over the years, we have made significant improvements to our facilities and equipment to meet the evolving demands of emergency services. Our renovated building boasts three large bays, an office area, crew room, meeting room, restrooms, commercial kitchen, and an air-conditioned banquet hall available for rent year-round. We take pride in our fleet of upgraded apparatus, including a 2003 Ferrara Rescue-Pumper, a FEMA grant-funded replacement for our International Tanker, and a FEMA grant-funded replacement for our Engine.

These investments allow us to continue providing top-tier services without burdening taxpayers. We are members of the North Pocono Fire & Rescue Association and operate on the Lackawanna County Black Frequency.
