## Description

3/20 Watersports Ministry, also known as 320 Watersports Ministry, is a nonprofit Christian organization founded in 2005 by Chris and Kathy Medlin. Based in Durham, North Carolina, it uses watersports and leadership training to help share the Christian faith and encourage students to grow in confidence, courage, and biblical understanding. Its mission is to motivate and equip believers to use their gifts to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The ministry’s Lake Day program offers students a safe, supportive introduction to the lake and activities such as kneeboarding and wakeboarding. Volunteers cheer participants on as they try new challenges, with a focus on serving students who may be troubled or hurting, or who have had little experience in the water. 3/20 also provides team-building and leadership experiences that combine watersports with instruction in leadership skills and biblical virtues. Its Summer Wake Crew program offers students training, encouragement, opportunities to share personal testimonies, and group devotions on the water.
