## Description

42-coin is a decentralized, community-driven cryptocurrency designed as a scarce store of value. Its supply is capped at 42 coins, all mined between 2014 and 2016, with no premine, instamine, ICO, or developer allocation. The project presents its fixed supply and protocol-level deflationary design as a way to avoid the inflation associated with ongoing coin issuance.

The network combines Scrypt-based Proof of Work and Proof of Stake to confirm transactions and secure the blockchain. Its published specifications include seven confirmations, target block spacing of seven minutes for PoS and 21 minutes for PoW, and zero block rewards, with PoW miners receiving transaction fees. Transactions can be public or private, and the project also provides a built-in tool for encrypting text or hexadecimal data.

42-coin offers wallet downloads through GitHub Releases and links to address and wallet-generation tools, blockchain explorers, market listings, charts, and analytics services. Its community resources include Telegram, Discord, and a Bitcointalk forum. The site also lists BSC and Solana tokens and provides access to a web bridge.
