## Description

44.01 is a brand dedicated to providing a safe, natural, and cost-effective solution for eliminating CO2 from the atmosphere. Understanding the importance of removing CO2 to mitigate climate change, 44.01 focuses on mineralizing captured carbon dioxide in peridotite formations deep underground, ensuring its permanent removal from the atmosphere. By harnessing proprietary technologies, 44.01 accelerates the natural process of peridotite mineralization, potentially mineralizing up to a billion tons of CO2 annually. Peridotite, with its abundant presence in Oman and vast reserves worldwide, offers exceptional absorption potential, allowing each ton to mineralize 500-600kg of CO2 within just 12 months. This approach not only provides a more effective solution than other methods but also generates valuable carbon credits that can be sold or utilized to decarbonize hard-to-abate emissions. 44.01 has already achieved success with two successful pilots and aims to begin commercial-scale operations in 2023. With further investment in research and development, the brand expects mineralization costs to match conventional carbon storage by 2030 while offering a more durable, safe, and permanent solution. Join 44.01 in their mission to combat climate change and create a greener future.
