## Description

Welcome to the Ethereum Signature Database, your go-to resource for function and event signatures within the Ethereum Virtual Machine. Our database contains over 1,334,592 signatures, allowing you to easily map bytes signatures back to their human-readable versions. Function signatures are specified by the first four bytes of data sent with a transaction, while event signatures are defined as 32 bytes of the Keccak hash. Please note that deriving the human-readable representation from the bytes signature is not possible due to the one-way operation. Our API is available for use with the only restriction being that it should not disrupt the service itself. Whether you're searching for specific signatures or looking to submit your own, our database is here to serve you. Feel free to scrape the data with limited concurrency, or check out our GitHub Project Page to file an issue or contribute to the project. Thank you for choosing the Ethereum Signature Database.
