## Description

4GG is a free, non-commercial, browser-based fan adaptation of X-Wing 2.5, designed with a mobile-first experience. It recreates the game using its rules, card pool, and ruler-and-template geometry, and runs in a browser without requiring installation. 4GG is fan-made and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Atomic Mass Games.

Players can try Quickplay, host or join an online game using a game code, play offline against a bot, or use hot-seat and Sandbox modes. Online matches are asynchronous, so players can take a turn, leave, and return later. For newcomers, a guided tutorial teaches the phases, tokens, and dice through a short game featuring two X-wings against three TIE fighters; no squad is needed. The app also offers tips and a tour to help users get started.

Although 4GG does not have a dedicated mobile app, it can be installed from a supported mobile browser and opened full-screen. On iOS, installation uses Safari’s Add to Home Screen option; on Android, it is available through the browser menu.
