Tellus is a brand that specializes in Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems for Personal Care Services (PCS) and Home Health Care Services (HHCS). As mandated by Section 12006 of the 21st Century Cures Act, all states must implement an EVV system for in-home visits by providers. The purpose of an EVV system is to verify the date, time, and location of provider visits, as well as the services provided and the provider responsible for the service.

This verification occurs in the member's home or in a community-based services setting. Tellus ensures that all impacted providers comply with the EVV requirements, with a deadline of January 1, 2021, except for Home Health under Section 40, which has a deadline of January 1, 2023. Tellus offers trainings and resources for providers to successfully integrate their EVV systems with the State-offered EVV system, or to use their own EVV system.
