Welcome to the 50 Over 50 NE Awards, where we celebrate and honor extraordinary Nebraskans who are 50 years old and above, achieving remarkable things in our great state. These awards recognize individuals in five distinct categories: Business, Community, Healthcare, Nonprofit, and Innovation. We firmly believe that age should play a prominent role in conversations about Diversity and Inclusion. By showcasing the accomplishments of Nebraskans aged 50 and over, the 50 Over 50 NE Awards aim to highlight and challenge ageism, fostering a greater understanding of the impact of age within Diversity & Inclusion. Nominees in the Nonprofit category include individuals committed to strengthening the nonprofit field and educational institutions. The Innovation category honors individuals who think outside the box, challenge norms, and bring about positive changes. The Business category recognizes professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders contributing to the growth of Nebraska's economy. The Community category pays tribute to individuals working tirelessly to make their communities stronger through volunteering, public service, education, and impactful leadership. Lastly, the Healthcare category recognizes the bravery and dedication of our healthcare professionals, especially in the face of the challenging COVID-19 pandemic.
