## Description

La cinquième saison is a literary review founded by a group of writers from French-speaking Switzerland. Open to different schools of thought and literary approaches, it aims to draw attention to worthwhile books overlooked by critics, provide a platform for emerging voices, and welcome experimentation. Its editorial outlook resists dogma, literary factions, labels, and preconceptions, looking instead toward both literary heritage and new possibilities.

The review publishes themed issues featuring contributions from writers in Switzerland and elsewhere. Its subjects have included fantasy, text and image, games, and the work of individual authors. The website also offers literary extracts, author information, reviews, news, and announcements of calls for submissions and publication events.

La cinquième saison has been distributed through Servidis and sold in bookstores, with an advertised price of CHF 15 per issue, as well as by subscription. The site currently states that publication of the review is suspended for the time being, while inviting subscribers to contact its administration by email.
