## Description

The Five Rivers Heart Association, founded in 2012 by Dr. Swaiman Singh, is a visionary nonprofit organization committed to enhancing healthcare and education in underserved communities. With its headquarters in California, the association focuses on implementing innovative and cost-effective medical solutions, particularly in northern India. Dr. Singh, a renowned Transplant Cardiologist at the Mayo Clinic, led the establishment of a free medical hospital and community center, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, to address pressing healthcare needs among vulnerable populations.

The organization's mission extends beyond immediate medical care; it encompasses promoting health equity through education, hygiene resources, and wellness programs. Volunteers play a pivotal role, providing diverse services including health screenings, medications, disaster relief, and educational scholarships in rural areas. By emphasizing disease prevention and health awareness, Five Rivers Heart Association aspires to create impactful change and contribute to a more compassionate healthcare system. Join them in their efforts to ensure that everyone has access to quality healthcare and education, regardless of their background.
