6G Finland is a dynamic coalition of Finnish 6G research and development organizations dedicated to advancing Finnish expertise in 6G technology on a global scale. With a focus on creating a sustainable and data-driven society, they aim to achieve instant and unlimited wireless connectivity. Finland has a strong history of success in the field of wireless mobile technologies, and through collaboration and cooperation, they have secured a leading position in 6G research and development.

As pioneers in the field, Finland launched the world's first large-scale 6G research program, 6G Flagship, in 2018. They currently lead the European 6G flagship initiative, Hexa-X-II, funded by the EU, while also playing a significant role in other 6G measures within the EU. The Hexa-X-II project is driven by technology push, society pull, and strategic autonomy, aiming to develop a vision for 6G wireless networks and position Finland at the forefront of global 6G development.
