6VT Youth Café is a leading youth brand located in the historic old town of Edinburgh. We welcome young people from diverse backgrounds across the city. Unlike traditional youth provision, we are open 52 weeks a year, 5 days a week, extending our hours of operation to better support the vulnerable.

As a purpose-designed youth café, we offer a safe and high-quality environment where young people can come together and access a wide range of services and personal development opportunities. Our unique approach combines the expertise of youth workers and social workers with specialized practitioners, providing a centralized one-stop shop that successfully engages a broad range of service users. Whether it's a positive social networking and learning experience, key support and development, or simply a safe space for diversion, 6VT is here for all.

In our 28 years of operation, we have attracted over 180,000 young people, demonstrating the success and sustainability of our services. We cater to children and young people from 0 to 25 years old, with both universal and targeted provisions. We are committed to equal opportunities and proudly working with LBGT Youth to achieve our LGBT Silver Charter.
