## Description

Brand 72, also known as the 72-Stunden-Aktion, is the largest social action event in Germany. Under the motto Uns schickt der Himmel (Heaven sends us), over a hundred thousand young Catholics come together to do good in their communities. The initiative is organized by the Federal Association of German Catholic Youth (BDKJ) and its member organizations. During the 72 hours of the event, projects are implemented across the country that aim to make the world a better place. These projects address political and social issues, focusing on the everyday lives of participants and integrating faith into action. In the last event held in May 2019, over 160,000 people participated in 3,400 groups. The initiative is not limited to Germany alone, as 45 international groups also took part. The third nationwide 72-Stunden-Aktion will be held in 2024. To get involved, interested individuals can register their action groups on the brand's website. Join the movement and make a difference in your community!.
