## Description

82games is a pioneering brand in NBA analytics, established in 2002 by Roland Beech. They are known for popularizing advanced statistics like +/-, adjusted +/-, and a wide range of team and player metrics. Initially providing data to multiple NBA teams, 82games later formed an exclusive partnership with the Dallas Mavericks. Their innovative approach to data collection led to groundbreaking insights and contributed to the Mavericks' 2011 Championship win. With numerous partnerships in the sports industry, including ESPN and NBA 2K, 82games has been at the forefront of basketball analytics. While the site has been on autopilot since 2002, a relaunch is planned for 2023 with expanded features. If you have ideas for original NBA content, 82games welcomes your contributions. Join the ranks of their alumni who have made it to the NBA and help shape the future of basketball analytics.
