## Description

8Asians is an Asian American collaborative online publication established in 2006. It brings together contributors from around the world to share original, diverse commentary on issues affecting Asian and Asian American communities. Rather than focusing on a single subject, the publication covers a broad mix of topics, including history, discrimination, current events, entertainment, movies, music, and Asian representation in American culture. Its articles explore community contributions and experiences, highlight cultural developments, and discuss media and public campaigns relevant to Asian Americans. Recent coverage includes Chinese immigrant history in California’s wine country, Asian American trailblazers, and Asian performers and films. 8Asians serves readers through its editorial content and also provides information about the publication through its About Us and Media and Press pages. Readers can follow its updates on social platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. With a collaborative format and a wide-ranging editorial perspective, 8Asians offers a space for varied voices to discuss subjects that matter to the communities it serves.
