## Description

8devs, also presented as Aiddevs, develops native mobile applications for emergency services, healthcare, and occupational safety. The company aims to use innovative technology to support people’s health and wellbeing, guiding projects from initial concept through prototyping, implementation, and publication on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Its process uses user stories, wireframes, and mock-ups to shape ideas into interactive prototypes before development.

Its featured applications address practical needs across care and emergency response. NeoDiary is a diary app for parents of premature babies; HeroShift supports intelligent staff scheduling in emergency services and healthcare; Verbandbuch enables digital documentation of accidents and injuries; and RetterTool provides a general-purpose tool for rescue and medical services. 8devs is also working on OPeR, a research project exploring AI-based forecasts and optimized workforce planning for emergency response organizations. The planned platform is intended to support staffing decisions, coordination, and more predictable work schedules. Supported through Rhineland-Palatinate’s InnoTop program, OPeR is conducted with scientific assistance from Fraunhofer ITWM.
