Aldehyde Dehydrogenases (ALDHs) are a group of enzymes that play a crucial role in the metabolism of aldehydes. They have significant implications for cancer progression and cell differentiation. Our expertise in cancer metabolism and apoptotic cell death allows us to develop a groundbreaking treatment approach that offers new hope for patients.

Our leading drug candidate, ABD-3001, is a first-in-class inhibitor that irreversibly blocks the activity of ALDH1 and ALDH3 enzymes. By accumulating reactive aldehydes in tumor cells, ABD-3001 disrupts oncogenic signaling pathways critical for cell proliferation. We are proud to announce that Advanced BioDesign has been selected as the winner of the France 2030 Plan's i-Demo project, securing up to €3 million funding for our ODYSSEY clinical trial.

This trial will focus on patients with AML who are resistant to standard treatments.
