## Description

Astronomers for Planet Earth (A4E) is a global grassroots initiative uniting astronomers, educators, and students to address the climate crisis from an astronomical viewpoint. Recognizing the fragility of planet Earth, A4E aims to inform the public about the urgency of climate action through a unique cosmic perspective. The movement emphasizes that Earth is our only viable home and encourages sustainable choices within the astronomical community.

Members engage in various efforts, including producing educational videos and webinars that highlight the intersection of space exploration and climate solutions. Additionally, A4E offers resources for teaching climate science, community newsletters, and opportunities for active participation through local chapters. Their mission focuses on providing both the public and astronomers with essential tools to advocate for environmental awareness and sustainable practices. By fostering a supportive network, A4E amplifies individual efforts to combat climate change and shares innovative ideas for a healthier planet.
