## Description

Advanced Accelerator Concepts (AAC) is a biennial workshop forum focused on long-term research in advanced accelerator physics and technology. Its 20th meeting, AAC’22, took place November 6–11, 2022, at the Hyatt Regency Long Island in Hauppauge, New York, and was sponsored by the IEEE Council on Superconductivity. The workshop brings together researchers for intensive discussions on accelerator developments that support basic science, including photon science and high-energy physics, as well as compact accelerator applications in industry, medicine, and security.

AAC’22 organized its program around working groups covering laser-plasma wakefield acceleration, beam-driven acceleration, laser and high-gradient structure-based acceleration, particle sources, monitoring and control, radiation generation, computational modeling, and advanced laser and beam technologies and facilities. The event also offered an invited program, student tutorials, a social program, and opportunities for participants to review the agenda, proceedings, travel information, and workshop guidance. Its website served as a central source for conference announcements and updates.
