The American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY) is a leading organization that champions, supports, and celebrates youth who care for chronically ill, injured, elderly, or disabled family members. With a history dating back to 1998, AACY has been at the forefront of addressing the needs and challenges faced by Caregiving Youth in the United States for over 16 years. AACY provides comprehensive, prioritized, and free services through their Caregiving Youth Project (CYP).

This project offers a range of valuable resources, including scholarships, opportunities, and a platform for student stories. AACY also collaborates with schools through their Treasure Talk program, where they engage with students and offer support. In addition to their direct services, AACY conducts research and hosts the Caregiving Youth Institute (CYI) Conference, aimed at advancing knowledge and understanding of caregiving youth and providing a platform for collaboration.
