## Description

Aalto-Basket is the basketball club of Aalto University in Espoo, Finland. Founded in 1981, the club has a long history in student sports and has grown to include several teams catering to competitive, semi-competitive and recreational players. Its programme brings together men’s and women’s basketball across different levels of regional competition.

The men’s first team competes in the regional second division, while Buckets plays in the third division and Alvars in the fourth. For women, the first team competes in the third division, and Maljakot plays in the fourth. Through these teams, Aalto-Basket offers opportunities to participate in organised basketball at varying levels of commitment and competition.

The club also shares news and match reports through its blog and maintains a presence on social media, with individual teams linked to platforms including Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Aalto-Basket’s activities centre on team basketball and the university community, continuing its student-sports traditions while supporting a growing range of teams in Espoo.
