## Description

AAPS Society, also known as the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, is the oldest organized Plastic Surgery organization in the world. Established in 1921, AAPS aims to advance the science and art of plastic surgery through surgical education, research, scientific presentations, and professional interaction. The highlight of their academic year is the Annual Meeting, which brings together physicians from around the world, providing an opportunity to exchange knowledge and expertise. Membership in AAPS grants access to exclusive benefits, including the Members Only Area, where members can find valuable resources, guidelines, and publications. AAPS also publishes informative newsletters and a centennial book that delves into the rich history of plastic surgery. Committed to supporting the growth and development of plastic surgery, AAPS welcomes donations and pledges, allowing individuals to contribute to their impactful work. With a focus on staying current with the latest developments and established practices in the field, AAPS provides a platform for plastic surgeons to engage, learn, and elevate their professional journey. Contact AAPS to get involved and learn how you can contribute to their mission.
