## Description

Aarhus Adventure Challenge is an adventure-racing event held in Aarhus, Denmark, with its 2026 edition scheduled for May 23. Centered on the city known as “the City of Smiles,” the race invites participants to test their physical fitness, mental resilience, and navigation skills. It offers two distances to suit different experience levels and ambitions. Fighter is a three-to-six-hour course designed for anyone seeking a memorable challenge with family, friends, colleagues, or acquaintances. Its navigation is simpler than that of the longer race. Challenge lasts seven to ten hours and is aimed at experienced adventure racers as well as active participants looking to push their limits. Teams set their own pace and must find their way throughout the event; depending on the time available, some may not complete every course section before heading to the finish. The event also welcomes newcomers, presenting an opportunity to try adventure racing close to home.
