## Description

Aaron Makelky is an independent technology educator who helps people and organizations apply complex technology to work they already do. His teaching is designed for people who do not write code, with a focus on clear explanations and practical results. Through workshops, school training, talks, and video, he introduces technical topics in plain language and encourages teams to test ideas against their real tasks. His approach begins with a job a person or team already performs, then explores whether technology can make that work more useful or efficient. Makelky also offers one-to-one calls and can build a test around a recurring task and the way a team actually handles it. His materials include videos and other content, downloadable resources for tasks he has automated, small tools that have saved him time, and field notes about tools he has tried—including those he would not recommend using again. His work also addresses practical AI use and protections against abuse in classrooms.
