## Description

The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) has been a cornerstone of youth sports development since 1888, fostering the growth of athletic skills and leadership among young athletes across the United States. With nearly 800,000 members, the AAU offers a wide-ranging sports program encompassing over 50 disciplines, including basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, and swimming. The AAU Girls Basketball division actively promotes competitive opportunities such as the NRS Rankings, World Championships, and various regional events, including the esteemed AAU Disney Classic and All American Games.

In addition to hosting tournaments, AAU emphasizes the importance of education for coaches through mandatory training initiatives and also prioritizes athlete protection and welfare. The organization further supports its community through charitable efforts like meal donations and disaster relief initiatives. Whether you are a young athlete, a coach, or a parent, the AAU provides a robust support system for engagement in amateur sports, embodying the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork in all they do. Join the AAU and be part of this vibrant community!
