# Zeros Pferde - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `aazero.org` ## Description AA Zero is a Croatian nonprofit association dedicated to protecting animals and nature, with a particular focus on providing refuge for horses. Established as an independent organization in 2023, its project began in 2018 in response to the lack of safe places for large animals. The sanctuary offers care and shelter to a limited number of horses whose lives have involved neglect, exploitation, abuse, or danger. Today, the animals include seven horses and two ponies, cared for by the team and volunteers at locations near Zagreb.
