## Description

Abagility Maths Club is a South African education brand focused on building confidence and ability in mathematics through Japanese Soroban abacus tuition. Its programme teaches children to use the abacus for mental arithmetic and connects those techniques with school mathematics and everyday situations. Lessons also cover topics and activities such as word problems, money, graphs, puzzles, brain teasers and “spider sums,” supporting logical and critical thinking alongside number skills.

Abagility aims to make learning enjoyable while maintaining a caring, disciplined environment and clear learning objectives for students in class and at home. The club offers courses for children, an Accelerate programme for adults, online classes and a course to learn the 1–12 times tables. Students can attend through a network of branches across South Africa, with online learning also available.

The organisation is a member of the Abacus Maths Soroban Association of South Africa, which is affiliated with Tomoe Soroban Co. in Japan.
