The African Business Center for Developing Education (ABCDE) is a pioneering Pan-African organization that aims to bridge the gap between education and industry. Founded in 2012 by H. E.

Dr Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, former Minister of Education and Minister of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Ghana, ABCDE assists the business community in delivering various services to the educational sector to enhance youth employability across Africa. ABCDE's model involves mentorship, internships, scholarships, and a host of work-readiness skills programs. Industrial leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals from various industries work directly with students, providing guidance in negotiating skills, personal development, ICT skills, time management, decision-making, numeracy and literacy, work ethics, leadership, and teamwork.

Currently operating in Ghana, South Africa, Tanzania, and Nigeria, ABCDE has plans to expand. By 2030, they aim to have sent over 100,000 professionals back to schools, impacting the lives of at least 1 million students and supporting 5,000 ICT centers in African schools. The impact of ABCDE's interventions on corporate productivity, public sector efficiency, academic performance, and modernization in Africa is immeasurable.
