## Description

Abeego is a Canadian brand known for inventing the original reusable beeswax food wrap. Founded by Toni Desrosiers, the company introduced its first breathable wrap in 2008 as an alternative to plastic food storage. Abeego wraps are designed to mimic a food’s natural peel, allowing fresh produce to breathe while helping protect it from drying out and spoiling. The brand’s signature material blends beeswax, damar resin, and jojoba oil with hemp-cotton cloth.

Abeego sells food wraps in a range of sizes and shapes, including large squares and rectangles, as well as multi-wrap bundles and mini wraps. Its products can be used for leafy greens, vegetables, bread, cheese, and other fresh foods; rectangle wraps can also be shaped into bags. The company provides guidance on using and caring for its wraps, recommending cold-water washing with eco-friendly soap, followed by air-drying and storage. Abeego describes itself as B Corp Certified, a zero-waste business, and a living-wage employer.
