# Aberdeen Defibrillator Project - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `aberdeen-defibrillator-project.org` ## Description The Aberdeen Defibrillator Project is a community-focused initiative working to improve health and safety across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Its mission is to make life-saving medical resources more accessible by placing defibrillators where they are most needed. The project collaborates with local donors, sponsors, businesses, and communities to support the distribution of this equipment and help create safer public spaces. Alongside defibrillator distribution, the project provides demonstrations and training in CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) use. These sessions aim to equip people with the knowledge and confidence to respond to emergencies, particularly when ambulance response times are delayed. The project also describes its work as including medical supply chain management and offers in-person guidance to help people understand the role of defibrillators and CPR in emergency response. With community involvement at the heart of its approach, the Aberdeen Defibrillator Project seeks to expand access to essential equipment and encourage more people to take part in building a prepared, health-conscious community. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Public Health and Safety _(under Health)_ - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id8ASJBlxH/w/250/h/150/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791125354691) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Alizarin Crimson | #dc2626 | accent | | Yukon Gold | #856404 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Montserrat — asset _(google)_ - Lato — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
