## Description

ABIEP, the Brazilian Association of Board Sports Industry, represents the interests of businesses, practitioners, and the wider community across eight disciplines: surf, skateboarding, stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, bodyboarding, and snowboarding. Its mission is to foster the sustainable development of board sports in Brazil, guided by the belief that sport can support health, well-being, and social inclusion.

The association organizes introductory sports activities, cultural events, and entertainment initiatives to promote participation and bring more people into board sports. Its programs include Surf Para Todos, Stand Up Para Todos, and Skate Para Todos, which offer accessible opportunities for people of different ages and experience levels to try these activities. ABIEP also produces content and supports the professionalization of the sector. Its cultural initiatives include Festivalma and the International Surf Art and Culture Exhibition, alongside a blog featuring articles, news, and information about board sports.
