# Ability First Ottawa - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `abilityfirstottawa.com` ## Description Ability First Ottawa is an organization dedicated to helping people with disabilities and their families pursue social, educational, and employment goals. It works with the supporting community to provide resource infrastructure and skills development, aiming to help participants build independence and achieve meaningful outcomes. The organization offers caregiver support through information, counselling, and intake sessions that help caregivers understand available funding and support systems for themselves and their children. While a structured Caregiver Support Program remains a longer-term goal, Ability First Ottawa currently shares its expertise with caregivers of program participants. Advocacy is another central part of its work: the organization raises awareness of available services and helps clients and families access support that can strengthen their self-sufficiency. Ability First Ottawa has also responded to community needs during the COVID-19 pandemic, distributing health kits to vulnerable people in Ottawa. These kits included essentials such as masks, hand sanitizer, and food. Through its programs, practical resources, and advocacy, the organization supports people with disabilities and those who care for them. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Developmental and Physical Disabilities _(under Health)_ - 🎗 Community and Society ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/abilityfirstottawa) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/abilityfirstottawa) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idP8gQ2frR/w/168/h/45/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793437120228) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idP8gQ2frR/w/720/h/710/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793437120464) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Fire Bush | #ea9129 | accent | | Sycamore | #698f3a | dark | | Terracotta | #de6b58 | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
