Able South Carolina is a disability-led organization dedicated to bringing about transformative changes in systems, communities, and individuals. As the oldest and largest federally recognized disability-led organization in the state, Able SC has been working since 1994 to make South Carolina a national model of equity and inclusion for all people with disabilities. With over three-quarters of their staff and more than half of their Board of Directors comprised of people with disabilities, Able SC practices equity, disability justice, and representation.

They believe in true inclusion, where people with disabilities are integrated into all facets of society, including employment, housing, and leadership roles. Able SC offers a range of products and services to support people with disabilities. Their services include advocacy, independent living information and referrals, peer support, and mentoring.
