Since 1983, he has cast and sculpted bronze using the lost-wax technique, creating works that explore modern and contemporary African aesthetics. His practice brings together material craft and artistic inquiry, with bronze sculpture at its center. Traoré’s work has been presented in exhibitions in Burkina Faso and internationally. In 2023, fourteen of his bronzes were shown at Espace Saladany in Luxembourg, and his work appeared in an exhibition in Frankfurt alongside that of Burkinabè painter Christophe Sawadogo.
