## Description

Above Us Only Skies is a world travel blog created by Ian and Nicky, an English couple exploring the planet through house sitting, pet sitting, backpacking and road trips. The blog documents their experiences and aims to inform, entertain and inspire travellers, particularly those looking for ideas beyond the usual routine. Its content spans destinations across countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas and Oceania, with posts organized by location to help readers explore and plan.

The site features travel stories, destination guides, practical itineraries, hiking recommendations and advice on activities and local experiences. Recent articles cover topics such as buying football tickets in Rio de Janeiro, exploring Brazil’s beaches, road-tripping around Scotland’s Isle of Skye and planning a visit to Cornwall. Readers can also browse an interactive map of posts by country and continent, along with country guides that offer information about different regions. A dedicated house- and pet-sitting resource section explains how travellers can get started and combine sitting assignments with longer stays in the places they visit.
