## Description

Agrupació de Balls Populars de Cubelles is a nonprofit cultural association founded in 1996 through the union of several traditional dance groups that had previously existed in Cubelles. The organization celebrates and shares local popular culture through its participating groups, public festivities, performances, and community activities. Its varied ensembles include giants, capgrossos (large-headed figures), grallers (traditional wind musicians), and groups devoted to dances such as cercolets, panderos, pastorets, bastons, cintes, and gitanes. The association also brings together young and adult percussion groups, diables, infernals, and other performers who contribute to processions and fire-run events. Its website provides news, an events agenda, image galleries, and information about the different groups, alongside updates on cultural weeks and Festa Major activities. It also invites people to join a group and take part in the celebrations, helping sustain local traditions through community participation. The association offers merchandise and shares information about its statutes and contact details, serving as a central point for residents and visitors interested in Cubelles’ popular dances and festive life.
