## Description

The Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) is a trusted organization that oversees and promotes quality pharmacy practice in Alberta. Our main goal is to ensure that pharmacists and pharmacy technicians meet the highest standards of knowledge and skills to provide safe and effective patient care. As the previous Alberta College of Pharmacists, we have now transitioned to the Alberta College of Pharmacy to better serve our community. With this change, we have updated our website to https://abpharmacy.ca. At ACP, we develop and enforce pharmacy practice standards and guidelines to ensure quality practice and patient safety. We also manage the complaints resolution process for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacies, ensuring accountability and professionalism within the industry. Additionally, we actively participate in local, provincial, and national health policy forums, advocating for patient-centered and collaborative healthcare. Our activities are governed by the Health Professions Act, which outlines the organizational structure of the college, including council and our commitment to maintaining a competent and responsive healthcare workforce. For further information or inquiries, please feel free to contact us.
