## Description

A Canadian Foodie is Valerie’s food and lifestyle blog, sharing traditional Canadian food recipes and ideas for preserving Canadian food practices. Its approach celebrates cooking from scratch at home, eating seasonally, buying local, and making the most of homegrown and foraged ingredients. The site offers a broad collection of recipes, including appetizers, soups, breads, desserts, preserves, vegetarian dishes, seafood, and family favourites, alongside Canadian regional foods and recipes inspired by Valerie’s mother and grandmother. Readers can also explore cheese-making through the Cheesepalooza project, seasonal gardening, produce and producer features, farmers’ markets, and food-related travel and restaurant reviews. Valerie writes about culinary experiences in Canada and abroad, and shares projects, events, tastings, and personal stories. A Canadian Foodie also features Thermomix recipes and identifies Valerie as an independent Thermomix consultant, offering a way for readers to learn about the appliance and its use in the kitchen. Overall, the brand combines practical home cooking with Canadian food heritage, gardening, travel, and community-focused culinary exploration.
