## Description

Ação da Cidadania, founded by sociologist Herbert de Souza, known as Betinho, in 1993, is Brazil's largest organization dedicated to combating hunger. With a mission to ensure everyone has the right to adequate food, the NGO has been instrumental in addressing food insecurity and promoting citizenship over the past three decades. The organization runs several initiatives, including the Cozinha Solidária, which provides meals to those in need, and Escola de Gastronomia Social, which trains individuals in culinary skills. Ação da Cidadania also spearheads campaigns like Natal Sem Fome and events such as the Corrida e Caminhada Contra a Fome, which raise awareness and funds for these causes. Donors can choose from various methods to contribute, including direct donations and participation in fundraising events. By supporting Ação da Cidadania, individuals and businesses can play a vital role in transforming lives and fostering a future free from hunger in Brazil.
