Wellington Access Radio is a non-profit, grassroots charity that is dedicated to representing and celebrating the diverse communities of Wellington. As a radio station, we provide a platform for groups that are often overlooked in mainstream and conservative media, while also highlighting arts, music, and local culture. Our mission is to give a voice to those who may not usually be heard. We serve the Wellington, Hutt Valley, and Porirua areas, with programmes created by diverse communities across the region. Anyone can get involved by making their own programme or podcast with us, being interviewed, or having their music played on air. You can find us on 106.1FM and also stream live on our website and the accessmedia.nz mobile app. Additionally, you can subscribe to our podcasts on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
