## Description

Rosemary & Dan Champion are the inspiring minds behind The Accidental Smallholder, a platform dedicated to offering guidance, support, and advice for smallholders and those aspiring to embrace a self-sufficient lifestyle. Originally established in 2003 as a personal blog documenting their smallholding journey, the site has evolved into a comprehensive resource for individuals interested in growing their own food and fostering sustainability.

Based in Carnoustie, Scotland, Rosemary and Dan manage a diverse range of livestock, including Coloured Ryeland sheep, Shetland cattle, laying hens, and table poultry. They also offer insights into their smallholding experiences through a detailed diary and forum discussions. Additionally, they conduct informative courses on various aspects of smallholding, further enriching the community they have built. With a passion for sharing knowledge and fostering a sustainable lifestyle, The Accidental Smallholder continues to empower and educate individuals looking to connect with the land and lead a more self-reliant life.
