## Description

**Brand Description: American Center for Democracy (ACD)**

The American Center for Democracy (ACD) is a New York-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to safeguarding free speech, political freedom, and national security. Through extensive research and analysis, ACD identifies and exposes threats from political Islam, cyber warfare, and economic manipulation, equipping public and private sectors with the knowledge to combat these challenges.

ACD offers specialized tools, including its Threatcon programs, which provide tailored briefings and scenario gaming to enhance cooperation among policymakers. Their innovative Terrorist Finance Network Tracker (TFNT) serves as a unique anti-money laundering system designed to monitor and disrupt the financial networks of radical Islamic organizations.

In addition to its research, ACD plays an active role in policy advocacy, having significantly influenced legislation such as the SPEECH Act, which protects American publishers from foreign libel judgments. ACD's multidisciplinary approach and commitment to clear, actionable strategies position it as a leader in promoting democratic values and responding to emerging threats.
