## Description

Affinity Community Engagement Project CIC, known as ACE Project CIC, is a community organisation founded in 2010 to support people facing barriers such as disability, isolation, discrimination, financial hardship, transport difficulties, and limited practical or emotional support. Its long-term mission focuses particularly on older people who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, or isolated, helping them live independently and with dignity at home and in the community.

ACE offers home support, befriending, and day activity groups. These services provide practical assistance, companionship, social opportunities, meals, and activities that can help people build confidence, make choices, and maintain meaningful relationships. The organisation aims to promote positive wellbeing, independence, equality, and participation in community life, while welcoming and supporting visitors and bringing generations together. Its vision also includes encouraging young people to develop their potential through education, employment, and volunteering opportunities.

Based in Birmingham, ACE works to celebrate the area’s diversity and strengthen local connections.
