In addition to their cheese-making operation, the Pachecos also raise beef cows, pigs, sheep, horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and ducks on their ranch. The animals are pastured on 230 acres and are fed a balanced diet that includes brewers grain and yeast from local breweries, whey, and oat and alfalfa hay. Committed to sustainability, the ranch avoids using hormones or pesticides.
