# Acheret - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `acheret.org.il` ## Description **ACHERET Center: A Multicultural Research Fellowship in Physics Education** ACHERET is a pioneering educational model dedicated to enhancing physics studies within a multicultural framework. Established over a decade ago, the center seeks to inspire students by emphasizing research-led education. By fostering collaboration among scholars from diverse backgrounds—including secular and religious, Arabs and Jews—ACHERET creates a vibrant learning environment that promotes curiosity and creativity. The center operates the "Archimedean Point" seminary, which trains research facilitators—including engineers and scientists—to become educational leaders. This initiative supports the establishment of school clusters that conduct joint research, ultimately aimed at increasing the number of students pursuing physics. In fact, the program has led to a remarkable 30% increase in physics enrollments, with a significant rise in female participation. Supported by various organizations, including the Ministry of Education and the Galileo Foundation, ACHERET is committed to addressing the pressing shortage of physics educators and preparing the next generation for the challenges of a rapidly evolving world. With ambitious goals for expansion and professional development, ACHERET is shaping the future of physics education in Israel. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Physics _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 Education _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/mercazacheret) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idUNHGgNLg/w/266/h/98/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1743972058830) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idUNHGgNLg/w/176/h/171/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1743972058961) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Alto | #dbdbdb | accent | | Nile Blue | #1b3b56 | dark | | Beryl Green | #e2e2ba | light | ## Fonts - Alef Hebrew — asset _(custom)_ - Heebo — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
